    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **HSE Specialist** to support and enhance our health, safety, and environmental programs. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing initiatives that protect employees, the environment, and company assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Compliance & Regulation**

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Maintain and update safety policies, procedures, and documentation.

    + Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

    + **Training & Education**

    + Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.

    + Promote awareness of safety protocols and environmental responsibilities.

    + Maintain training records and ensure certifications are up to date.

    + **Incident Management**

    + Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

    + Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.

    + Support emergency response planning and drills.

    + **Environmental Stewardship**

    + Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and spill prevention.

    + Assist in sustainability initiatives and reporting.

    + Coordinate with environmental agencies and consultants as needed.

    + **Continuous Improvement**

    + Analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement.

    + Participate in cross-functional safety committees and initiatives.

    + Recommend and implement best practices to enhance workplace safety and environmental performance.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

    + 3–5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in [insert industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction, oil & gas].

    + Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.

    + Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems.

    Preferred Certifications:

    + Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

    + Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)

    + HAZWOPER Certification
