Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Architect with 12 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI Service Data Modelling Mash Up Language DAX Azure Analysis Services MS Power BI MS Excel Database and SQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive data solutions and insights to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

+ **Design and implement robust data models using Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives.**

+ **Develop and optimize complex DAX calculations to enhance data analysis capabilities.**

+ **Utilize Mash Up Language to transform and integrate data from various sources.**

+ **Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.**

+ **Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards.**

+ **Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.**

+ **Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Power BI best practices.**

+ **Drive continuous improvement in data visualization techniques to enhance user experience.**

+ **Leverage Azure Analysis Services to build scalable and efficient data solutions.**

+ **Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries to improve data retrieval times.**

+ **Utilize MS Excel for advanced data manipulation and reporting tasks.**

+ **Engage with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals.**

+ **Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power BI and related technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.**

Qualifications

+ **Possess extensive experience in Power BI Service Data Modelling and DAX.**

+ **Demonstrate proficiency in Mash Up Language and Azure Analysis Services.**

+ **Exhibit strong skills in MS Power BI MS Excel and SQL databases.**

+ **Have a background in Property & Casualty Insurance is advantageous.**

+ **Show excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.**

+ **Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.**

+ **Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.**

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 27 th , 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
