Job Overview:

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Completion or Graduate from an accredited Technical program

Preferred:

N/A

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

+ Current BLS required (American Heart Association

+ Certified Surgical Technician

+ Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

+ Varies

+ Night 3:00 PM- 11:00PM

+ Per Diem

Essential Functions:

+ Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.

+ Ensure patient s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.

+ In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
