The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Performs major and minor pipe repairs and/or installations of liquid, air steam, oil lines, etc., throughout Facility.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ High School/Vocational School graduate or equivalent with courses in blueprint reading, plumbing, mathematics. Plumbing education with certification.

+ Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training.

+ Three to five years as a plumber

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ New Jersey Drivers License

+ Valid NJ Plumbers License Preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Full-Time

+ Days

+ 40 hous/week

Essential Functions:

+ All work performed shall meet or exceed codes and/or standards for the industry and manufacturers specifications must be met. Normally acceptable methods for installation, repair and maintenance of equipment, appliances, and/or systems shall be evident at all times.

+ Performed skilled tasks such as repairs and adjustments necessary for proper operation of mechanical, H.V.A.C., plumbing but not limited to the following and in the priority instructed by supervision.

+ Knowledge in all phases of heating, air conditioning, hydraulics, vacuum, thermostatic, water and sanitary cycles and practical pipe layout work.

+ High, medium, and low pressure heating and processing system installation knowledge.

+ Capable of repairing boilers, pumps, air compressors, water softeners, etc.,.

+ Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes.

+ Capable of soldering welding and brazing all types of metals.

+ Responds immediately to alarms throughout the facility.

+ Maintains chlorine equipment and makes adjustments/repairs as needed so that patient safety and comfort is not compromised.

+ Performs preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment according to established procedures; inspects, calibrates, adjusts, lubricates, replaces filters and repairs and replaces components.
