Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelors in required field ( Psychology)

+ Certified Screener

Preferred:

+ 1 to 2 years experience

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

+ Certified Screener

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

+ Night

+ Per Diem

Essential Functions:

+ Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports in a timely manner prior to end of shift.

+ Provides hotline information/referral/interventions that conforms to Screening guidelines.

+ Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services/ disposition .according to patient s clinical needs consideration of least restrictive alternatives.

+ Screening Document contains clear description of dangerousness due to mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS Screener Certification training.

+ Screening Document reflects clear description of patient s mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS Certification training.
