    The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

    Job Overview:

    The Social Worker LSW provides direct clinical services in our behavioral health adult outpatient program such as initial intake assessments, and individual and group counseling services to adults with Serious Mental Illness SMI, including those with a co-occurring substance use diagnosis in our Adult Outpatient department.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Master's Degree in Social Work

    Preferred:

    + Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing

    Certifications and Licenses Required:

    + NJ Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Part-Time (PT)

    Essential Functions:

    + Participate in planning conferences

    + Maintain up-to-date and complete records of patient information according to established standards

    + Create, review, and update treatment and discharge plans as a member of a multidisciplinary team

    + Communicate with outside providers and referral sources
