Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Quality Coordinator in Somerset, NJ. This role will assist Clinical Nurse Managers with ensuring that quality care is delivered to all patients within the Medical Groups practice in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Current Certified Medical Assistant

+ Current BLS certification

+ Must possess a valid NJ Drivers License and dependable transportation

+ Daily travel throughout the state of New Jersey, covering RWJBH Medical Group Service Areas

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ CMA Certification

+ BLS Certification from AHA

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Day Shift, 40 hours/week

+ Full-Time

Essential Functions:

+ Utilizes principles of continuous quality improvement in all work situations to assess measure and improve organizational and department functions

+ Creates teaching material to support Organizational needs

+ Assist in the communication and coordination of clinical services initiatives

+ Assist in EMR chart reviews with medical assistants to identify potential errors in charting

+ Collaborates with other departments to create and maintain safe and efficient practice workflows

+ Creates teaching material to support Organizational needs

+ Plays a critical role in on-board training of new clinical staff

+ Will perform clinical skills competencies for all clinical staff

+ Maintain electronic medical record EMR proficiency

+ Conduct Occupation Safety and Health Administration OSHA training for staff
