The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The clerk performs many diverse duties necessary to and involving the maintenance, filing, distribution, copying, and retrieval of x-ray films and files. Handles all correspondence received from ACC Medical Records and ACC Film Library. Performs a variety of clerical and reception functions including telephone interactions with physicians, offices, law firms, hospitals and ancillary services.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Knowledge of basic office skills (faxing, filing, answering phones)

+ Strong communication skills

+ Excellent customer service skills

Preferred:

+ Knowledge of medical terminology

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Schedule: Monday-Friday

+ Time: 9:00AM-5:00PM (Must be flexible to work weekends.)

+ Shift: Day

+ Full-Time, 37.5 Hours

Essential Functions:

+ Answering phone calls from patients or doctors offices

+ Responding to requests for reports/CDs to be mailed to patients or faxed to doctor s offices.

+ Facilitating faxes being received from outside facilities or patients through Stratus Imaging share for patients or actual mailing of CDs to doctors offices.

+ Covering lunch breaks and possible working Saturday when/if per diems call out.

+ Responding to heavy volume telephone calls

+ Uploading outside CDs for patients/doctor's offices
