Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Occupational Therapist in New Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Graduate of accredited program in Occupational Therapy at the baccalaureate or post baccalaureate level required

+ Previous outpatient experience preferred.

+ Previous oncology experience preferred.

Preferred:

+ Active membership in a professional organization is encouraged

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ New Jersey board license required

+ Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Day Shift, 40 hours/week

+ Full Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

+ Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients in the outpatient setting,

+ Patient and family intervention for patients of all ages with a range of diagnoses in the primary oncology setting. Diagnoses may be oncologic, neurologic, orthopedic, surgical or general medical in nature.

+ Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intra disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication, and program growth opportunities.
