Salary Range: $46.30 - $55.37 Hourly

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Manages the technical and operational aspects of the department for efficient, cost-effective and timely performance of diagnostic test results. Assume responsibilities for procedural and system controls, problem-solving, teaching, coaching, and supervising. Maintains all necessary QC/QA and documents required by accreditation agencies. Maintains continuing education credits. Acts as the Manager in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ High School graduate

+ Completion of an approved Radiology Technology program that meets the requirements set by the ARRT and the NJ State DEP

Preferred:

+ 1 - 2 years experience as a staff technologist including at least one year of CT experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ Must be licensed by the NJ State DEP and the ARRT

+ CT registry eligible within 6 months of employment

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Evening shift

+ Part Time

Essential Functions:

+ Day Logs for Pacs, daily

+ Monthly staff meetings

+ Assist Radiologists and Surgeons as needed

+ Follows up with Manager and Director in a timely manner

+ Run s Open orders and Charges out incomplete exams daily

+ Directs activities towards full compliance and accreditation with NJ Sate DEP and TJC

+ Reviews charts, scripts and referrals and orders with all correct pertinent information

+ Consistently plans and administers all technical and personnel aspects to maximize equipment and staff productivity

+ Other duties as assigned
