Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a 1st shift Assistant Lead in Eau Claire, WI.

Assistant Lead supports the Fulfillment Supervisor in activities of line oversight, maintaining quality control standards, following all housekeeping and maintenance programs, training personnel, participating in the safety program and filling in for people whenever and wherever needed by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties:

1. Assists leader in coordinating the activities as requested on assigned assembly lines or workstations.

2. Is actively involved in the training and retraining of temporary labor pool employees.

3. Product quality control on the assigned assembly lines or workstations.

4. Maintains accurate inventory records for raw materials, work in process, and finished product.

5. Keeps group leader, informed regarding any problem areas or quality issues.

6. Is continuously alert to unanticipated quality issues. Clearly understands to immediately suspend tasks or work situations which he/she feels constitutes a quality hazard.

7. Suggests beneficial changes in work methods, machinery, equipment, products.

8. Can efficiently and effectively work with company computer programs to adjust unit quantities up and down; look up unit history and counts; confirm material availability; print load tags.

9. Assures the accuracy of counting lot quantities to ensure displays have been packed with all materials and associated documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

• Must be able to bend, twist, and lift throughout shifts

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

• Effectively work within a team-based environment

**Pay Details:** Weekly pay starting at $16.00 per hour. Overtime pay is provided after working 28 hours.

This position is Monday-Friday; 6 am - 2 pm; overtime may be required.
