Core Responsibilities

• Design and write high-quality, production-ready code across multiple components of the technology stack

• Leverage AI coding tools effectively to enhance productivity and code quality

• Implement complex features independently while adhering to established architecture

• Debug and resolve critical production issues efficiently

• Document code, APIs, and technical decisions thoroughly

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development workflow

Technical Expertise Required

Development

• Expert-level proficiency in writing clean, efficient code in required languages

• Strong ability to craft effective AI prompts to generate optimal code solutions

• Experience using AI pair programming tools to accelerate development

• Skill in reviewing and refining AI-generated code for production use

• Ability to combine traditional programming skills with AI-assisted workflows

Full-Stack

• Proficient at implementing responsive front-end components and interfaces

• Experience using AI tools to generate UI components and styling

• Ability to optimize front-end performance with AI-suggested improvements

• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and associated tools

Database/Backend

• Strong skills in writing and optimizing database queries, leveraging AI for complex cases

• Experience implementing data access layers with AI assistance

• Ability to use AI tools to identify and correct inefficient database patterns

• Experience with AI-enhanced data modeling and schema design

DevOps/Performance Engineering

• Experience writing infrastructure as code with AI assistance

• Ability to use AI tools to identify security vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities

• Skill in interpreting AI-generated performance analytics

• Experience implementing AI-suggested system improvements

AI Proficiency

• Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, etc.)

• Experience crafting precise prompts to generate high-quality code solutions

• Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate and refine AI-generated code

• Ability to stay current with evolving AI coding capabilities and best practices

• Understanding of appropriate use cases for AI assistance vs. manual development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on hands-on coding

• Experience integrating AI tools into development workflow

• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technical implementations independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies

+ Must be willing to work in Salinas and Juana Díaz.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
