Adecco is partnering with a Hudson Valley client; we are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our growing technology team. This individual will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and assist with the maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide first-level support for IT-related issues via phone, email, or in person
+ Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals
+ Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
+ Support the setup of new users including accounts, devices, and access permissions
+ Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
+ Log and track support tickets using a help desk system, ensuring timely resolution
+ Assist in maintaining inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses
+ Collaborate with other IT staff to support technology projects and system upgrades
+ Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
+ Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
Qualifications:
+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
+ 1–3 years of IT support experience in a professional environment
+ Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
+ Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
+ Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
+ Certification(s) such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred)
Working Conditions:
+ On-site or hybrid (depending on business needs)
+ May require occasional after-hours support or weekend availability
+ Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
