    Position Description:

    The Summer Warehouse Intern supports warehouse operations by assisting with tasks such as shipping, receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and labeling. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a logistics environment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Interns will not operate motorized equipment or perform tasks that require lifting more than 25 lbs.

     

    The internship runs from June 1 through August 30, and interns will be scheduled to work no more than 20 hours per week.

    General Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Assist with receiving of incoming shipments.

    + Sort and label products for inventory or shipment.

    + Pick and pack items for customer orders with accuracy.

    + Help prepare shipments for same-day or scheduled delivery.

    + Support inventory organization and restocking efforts.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.

    + Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

    + High school student or recent graduate; minimum age 18.

    + Basic computer and math skills.

    + Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

    + Strong attention to detail and task-oriented mindset.

    + Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

    + Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Interest in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.

    + Willingness to learn and take initiative.

    + Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

     

    Reports To: Logistics Supervisor and takes direction from Logistics Leads and support team members.

     

    Environment: Warehouse environment, occasionally hot or cold temperatures, moderate noise level, occasional dust, chemical odors
