    Job Description

    General Description

    Seeking a mature and seasoned part-time Infant Lead Teacher for ages 6 months - 14 mths. who is a passionate and dedicated early childhood professional to work with our Infant program. Must be able to work a minimum of six hours per day, four days a week.

     

    Must possess a minimum of five years of formal Infant classroom experience. Must possess strong and sound decision making ability, leadership skills, interpersonal skills, excellent communication, flexibility and be willing to learn and grow.

     

    Must be available any time between 9:30 - 5:45 p.m. Monday - Thursday due to the children's schedules. BI - LINGUAL SPANISH A PLUS! Minimum Child Development Associate Credential, or Associate Degree preferred.

     

    Must meet all fingerprint and background checks for Department of Health, Article 47.13, medical, immunizations and trainings required. All candidates will be required to go through the Research Foundation application process when selected.

     

    August Start Date is necessary!

    The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is a nonprofit educational corporation founded in 1963 to provide post-award fiscal and administrative support for CUNY’s research and sponsored programs. These functions include legal assessment and signing of agreements where RFCUNY is named as a fiscal agent; setting up award accounts; preparing sub-awards and assisting PIs in monitoring the work of the recipients of sub-awards; supporting project directors with hiring and managing research project and sponsored program staff; supporting the purchasing and paying for goods and services with grant and program funds; managing financial aspects of projects including accounts receivable, financial reporting, invoicing, budget monitoring, and cost compliance with uniform guidance; ensuring that sponsor financial requirements are met; monitoring compliance with applicable project and financial management rules and laws; supporting the management of independent and external audits and financial reviews; and providing data, information, management expertise, and other supports to CUNY’s research and sponsored programs.
