    Within and created at the same time as CUNY SPS, the Office of Innovative Learning Solutions (ILS) designs custom workplace learning programs to help organizations achieve their goals. We are experts in research-based learning practices, online as well as in-classroom curriculum development and implementation. We are uniquely positioned to respond to organizational learning needs and support change management initiatives swiftly and effectively.

     

    The ACS Workforce Institute, a partnership between New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), ILS, and the Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work, provides ongoing, professional skills development for direct service staff and supervisors at ACS and its many partner agencies. Programs include strengths-based practice, coaching, safety and risk assessment, implicit bias, evidence-based modeling, and other specialized coursework delivered to numerous staff members across the child welfare and juvenile justice sectors.

     

    The ACS Workforce Institute provides professional development training for front-line and supervisory child welfare and juvenile justice professionals across the five boroughs.

    Description:

    CUNY SPS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager and Data Analyst to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth implementation, continuous improvement, and measurable impact of our workforce training programs. You’ll collaborate across departments, contribute to strategy, manage performance reporting, and help leverage our LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand) to drive data-informed decisions.

    Other Duties

    Program Oversight & Strategy

     

    + Support high-level implementation and operational maintenance of training programs

    + Evaluate program operations for quality, impact, and scalability

    + Lead cross-functional communication to align project goals and outcomes

    + Identify issues and initiate corrective actions to ensure program success

    + Assist in developing tools, templates, and centralized hubs for program status tracking

     

    Reporting & Analytics

     

    + Design and maintain program dashboards and visual reports to highlight performance, attendance trends, and learner engagement

    + Collaborate with Learning Operations (LO) and LMS administrators to analyze training-related issues and improve reporting accuracy

    + Develop stakeholder-facing reports to inform decision-making across the organization

     

    Learning Management System (Cornerstone OnDemand)

     

    + Monitor new features and functionalities in Cornerstone to identify opportunities for enhanced program delivery

    + Evaluate and refine internal Cornerstone processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

    + Create reports to identify trends and gaps in learner data

     

    Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree required; Master' preferred in Education, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field

    + 5+ years of experience in program/project management, learning & development, or evaluation

    + Strong proficiency with LMS platforms, preferably Cornerstone OnDemand

    + Experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

    + Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills

    + Ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights and recommendations

    About the Research Foundation

    The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is a nonprofit educational corporation founded in 1963 to provide post-award fiscal and administrative support for CUNY’s research and sponsored programs.     RFCUNY serves as a fiscal agent and works closely with all the CUNY campus Grants Offices to perform the core functions of post-award financial management for CUNY research projects and sponsored programs. These functions include legal assessment and signing of agreements where RFCUNY is named as a fiscal agent; setting up award accounts; preparing sub-awards and assisting PIs in monitoring the work of the recipients of sub-awards; supporting project directors with hiring and managing research project and sponsored program staff; supporting the purchasing and paying for goods and services with grant and program funds; managing financial aspects of projects including accounts receivable, financial reporting, invoicing, budget monitoring, and cost compliance with uniform guidance; ensuring that sponsor financial requirements are met; monitoring compliance with applicable project and financial management rules and laws; supporting the management of independent and external audits and financial reviews; and providing data, information, management expertise, and other supports to CUNY’s research and sponsored programs.
