Griswold Home Care in Salisbury, MD which serves the Lower Eastern Shore, is looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to assist with daily living tasks and provide companionship to a client in their home. This is a non-medical role that includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and general support to help the individual remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Days and hours may vary. Responsibilities: * Provide personal care, companionship and social interaction * Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, tidying up) * Prepare and serve simple meals * Support with transportation and errands such as grocery shopping, prescription pickups or doctor appointments * Help maintain a clean and organized home environment * Encourage and support daily routines and activities * Report any changes in the client’s condition to family or supervisor * Completing all documentation for each shift you work, submitting timely updates Qualifications: * 2+ years of previous caregiver experience preferred (personal or professional) * Strong communication and time management skills * Patient, kind, and reliable * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required * Required to be CPR Certified * Must pass a background check Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Weekly pay periods * Competitive pay range of $15 - $17/hour * Ongoing training and development * Supportive, respectful work environment * Rewarding work making a difference in someone’s daily life * Opportunity for additional hours based on performance and availability ABOUT GRISWOLD HOME CARE Griswold Home Care was founded by the late Jean Griswold in 1982, making us the oldest non-medical home care franchise organization in the country.
