We are looking for a Industry Sales Specialist, N.A. - Automotive Components to join our Chemetall Team.
This individual will cover North America and should live within the Northeastern or Southeastern Region, preferably in the Detroit area.

As an **Industry Sales Specialist, N.A. - Automotive Components** you will create chemistry by managing corporate relationships for key regional and global accounts in NA Develop key contacts horizontally and vertically into corporate customer(s). Working as a liaison between various ECT regions, business units, and sales territories to present “unified face to our customer(s). Serving as liaison between Field sales, district management, and regional and global segments for global and regional accounts.

+ Working directly with other NA Industry Sales Specialists to establish sales and pricing processes according to the company’s pricing guidelines.
+ Supporting the negotiation and closing of sales deals with the customer(s).
+ Generating and managing commercial and technical approvals and preparing and managing corporate bid/tender offers.
+ Preparing and signing off on (frame) contracts.
+ Representing Chemetall in on-site visits and key meetings.
+ Collaborating on account target setting with Key Industry Sales Manager AC MX and NA.
+ Providing sales forecasting annually for Auto Components industry in NA.
+ Analyzing and keeping track of sales identifying up-/cross-selling opportunities using Salesforce.
+ Understanding technical and managerial requirements of customer(s) offering new products tailored to their needs.
+ Keeping track of competitors’ offers and actions, initiating counteractions.
+ Engaging clients with marketing & communication initiatives, e.g., events.
+ Working with RMM from Auto Components to execute regional sales strategy.
+ Working with OEM colleagues in coordinating OEM contacts for approvals & projects.
+ Advising regional salesforce on account(s) activities.
+ Sharing market insights and trends with Regional Marketing management.

If you...
+ Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration is preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Components Industry.
+ Strong experience working with Automotive OEM customer accounts.
+ Strong understanding of surface treatment products and applications.
+ Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting to leadership and large audiences.
+ Possess demonstrated business and sales acumen.
+ Experience selling at the enterprise level.
+ Proficient in Salesforce, PowerBI, and Microsoft 365.
+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, this includes all of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; Valid Passport is required.
