We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Financial Systems Administrator to support a high-impact, $500M commercial program. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, performance, and scalability of our Workday Financials platform. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to streamline financial operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making through data.
-Administer and optimize the Workday Financials platform, including configuration, security, and integrations.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for system enhancements, issue resolution, and user support.
-Develop and maintain advanced Excel models using complex formulas (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, nested IFs, pivot tables, macros).
-Extract and transform financial data from Workday and Excel for analysis and reporting.
-Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or SQL to support program performance tracking and executive reporting.
-Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems through audits, reconciliations, and validation processes.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and general ledger processes.
-Document system processes, configurations, and user guides; support training initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
-3+ years of experience administering Workday Financials in a commercial or enterprise environment required.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling and automation.
-Hands-on experience with Power BI or SQL for data visualization and querying.
-Strong understanding of financial operations, including GL, AP/AR, procurement, and budgeting.
-Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
