    Senior Human Resources Project Manager | Fully-Remote | Pay: 120k - 145k/yr | 12-month contract-to-hire

    Job Description

    We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic professional to join our organization as a Senior Project Manager level 1 (Sr. PM I). As a senior member of our HR Program Management Office (HR PMO), you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects that are critical to our strategic objectives. Your exceptional project management expertise, leadership skills, and strategic mindset will be instrumental in driving project success and achieving business outcomes. The HR PMO Senior PM I is an upper mid-level position reporting directly into the HR PMO within the Human Resources function. Potential projects range between software development and infrastructure, to integrations, business systems, transformation, continuous improvement, contract compliance, and security initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Implement and enforce project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

    + Provide strategic leadership and direction in the planning and execution of large, complex projects.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and external partners.

    + Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive high performance.

    + Identify, document, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, applying advanced risk management strategies.

    + Assess and address the impact of projects on the organization, including changes in processes, systems, and culture.

    + Assess and track all change requests to evaluate project impacts; seek and obtain buy-in from appropriate decision makers.

    + Work with stakeholders to identify and assign people resources with appropriate capacity and skillset.

    + Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitoring expenditures and financial performance.

    + Ensure adherence to project management processes and procedures.

    + Provide and facilitate excellent communication; run effective meetings with clear objectives.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 10+ years within project management, HR, change management, and transformations.

    + Experience with acquisitions, mergers, or integrations.

    + Experience within a PMO preferred.

    + HR experience required.

    + Proficiency in smart sheets.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree or Technical Certification in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Human Resources).

    + 6-10 years managing HR IT/Services and/or Acquisition Integration projects.

    + Additional HR experience as a generalist or in an HR function is highly desirable.

    + In-depth knowledge and application of PMI's project management methodology. Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma) are highly desirable; PMP certification preferred; other project management certifications a plus.

    + Extensive experience as a project manager, successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex projects.

    + Proven track record of strategic project leadership and ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and SharePoint.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Project and Project Online required.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

    + Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level presentations.

    + Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Ability to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.

    + Industry-specific knowledge and experience related to the organization's projects are preferred (Cyber, Infrastructure, Application Development, etc.).

    + Humility – Ability to accept and apply constructive criticism.

    Work Environment

    100% remote position with meetings starting as early as 7 am and ending as late as 6 pm EST. The work is based on EST hours, and as a global company, global meetings are to be expected.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $145000.00/hr.
