Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide temporary assistance in our Accounts Payable department. Our team is currently behind and we are looking to update and influence our processes. This role involves helping us catch up on various tasks, including data entry, filing, and resolving issues. The specialist will also contribute to the development of new procedures for our procure-to-pay process and share best practices from previous experiences.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in catching up with data entry, filing, and tracking down issues.
+ Contribute input to the development of new procure-to-pay procedures.
+ Share experience and best practices from other companies.
+ Participate in additional tasks as time permits, demonstrating a willingness to help.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in accounts payable, accounting, and invoice processing.
+ Proficiency in data entry and accounts payable processes.
+ ERP experience, particularly with systems like IFS, is preferred.
+ Strong Excel skills and a process improvement mindset.
+ Critical thinking abilities to enhance existing processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Several years of experience in accounts payable, ideally within a manufacturing company.
Work Environment
The role requires onsite work from Monday to Friday. You will collaborate closely with our new accounting manager in a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
