    (100% Remote) Financial Systems Administrator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Financial Systems Administrator to support a high-impact, $500M commercial program. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, performance, and scalability of our Workday Financials platform. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to streamline financial operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making through data.

    Responsibilities

    + Administer and optimize the Workday Financials platform, including configuration, security, and integrations.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for system enhancements, issue resolution, and user support.

    + Develop and maintain advanced Excel models using complex formulas such as INDEX/MATCH, nested IFs, pivot tables, and macros.

    + Extract and transform financial data from Workday and Excel for analysis.

    + Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or SQL to support program performance tracking and executive decision-making.

    + Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems through audits, reconciliations, and validation processes.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and general ledger processes.

    + Document system processes, configurations, and user guides; support training initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + Workday

    + Advanced Excel proficiency including pulling large data sets, Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Index Match, etc.

    + SQL

    + Power BI

    + Accounting

    + Financial reporting

    + Analysis

    + Reconciliation

    + System configuration

    + Forecasting

    + 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Systems Administrator within Workday

    + Experience supporting $100M or larger program

    + Strong understanding of financial operations, including GL, AP/AR, procurement, and budgeting

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field

    + Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Workday Pro Certification or equivalent Workday training

    + Experience with Workday reporting tools such as Report Writer and Calculated Fields

    + Familiarity with integration tools like EIB or Workday Studio

    + Experience supporting large-scale programs or portfolios ($100M+)

    Work Environment

    This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will have normal working hours with some flexibility to ensure work is completed efficiently.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
