Forklift Operator
Pay: $20/Hour
Shift: 11am-9:30pm
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring the efficient distribution of goods.
Responsibilities
+ Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
+ Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas.
+ Place materials on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
+ Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
+ Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, and convey orders to packing stations or shipping department.
+ Mark materials with identifying information.
+ Open bales, crates, and other containers.
+ Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
+ Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
+ Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
+ Use a computer to enter records.
+ Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
+ Drive vehicles to transport stored items or to pick up items.
+ Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
+ Prepare parcels for mailing.
+ Maintain inventory records.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with inventory management, picking, general labor, and unloading.
+ Proficiency in packing, warehouse operations, packaging, RF scanner usage, material handling, and pallet jack operation.
+ Experience with reach and sit-down forklifts in narrow aisles.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Attention to detail and safety-oriented.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must wear steel-toed boots.
+ Cannot be color blind.
+ Good attitude and attendance.
+ Must be comfortable joining a union once direct.

Work Environment
Work in a food/beverage distribution company that supplies snacks to large companies and vending machines. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday starting at 11am, typically 10-hour days, with potential work up to 65 hours/week. The environment is safety-focused and requires adherence to company standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
