    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Milling department on the 2nd shift team. This role involves setting up and running 5 axis CNC Mill Machining Centers, with a focus on precision and efficiency. You will work a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, with a $3/hour shift premium.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and run 5 axis CNC Mill Machining Centers.

    + Program CNC Mill Machining Centers effectively.

    + Make necessary edits, offsets, and tool changes.

    + Read and interpret blueprints with expert-level knowledge of G-Code.

    + Utilize live tooling where applicable.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years experience setting up and running 5 axis CNC Mill Machining Centers.

    + Experience with CNC programming.

    + Ability to read blueprints and expert knowledge of G-Code.

    + Experience with Fanuc and Haas systems.

    + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Solidworks is beneficial.

    + Experience with lathes is a plus, although primary work is with mills.

    + Possession of own basic tools.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a job shop environment with approximately 50 employees, focusing on products for various industries such as medical device and automotive. The 2nd shift operates from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday through Thursday. Machines primarily used include Mor Seiki for turning and milling.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
