Job Title: CNC Machinist | 1st shift | $25-$32/hr | Bowerston, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in mills and routers to join our team in Bowerston, OH. As a CNC Machinist, you will work with wood materials, operate, edit, and program CNC equipment, using Master CAM for programming and editing jobs. You will perform frequent setups and changeovers for 'one-off' jobs in a job shop environment with longer run times. Reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools will be essential in your role.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and program CNC equipment using Master CAM.

+ Perform frequent setups and changeovers for customized jobs.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards.

+ Execute machining tasks with wood materials in a job shop environment.

Essential Skills

+ CNC Machining experience of 3+ years.

+ Proficiency in Master CAM or Auto CAD, with hands-on or educational experience.

+ Ability to perform machine setups, changeovers, and edits.

+ Experience with blueprint reading and tolerancing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Advanced programming skills are advantageous.

+ Experience in wood machining is preferred.

+ Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD software is a plus.

Although non-climate controlled, we maintain comfort with fans and open windows/doors during warm weather and heaters during cold conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BOWERSTON, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
