    Job Description:

    We are seeking a **dedicated On-Site HAZWOPER 40 Technician** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling hazardous materials, conducting environmental site assessments, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Hazardous Waste Management** – Identify, handle, transport, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    + **Site Inspections & Assessments** – Conduct environmental assessments, contamination monitoring, and site evaluations.

    + **Emergency Response** – Assist with hazardous spills and incidents, ensuring rapid and safe containment.

    + **Regulatory Compliance** – Maintain adherence to OSHA, EPA, and DOT guidelines.

    + **Safety & PPE Usage** – Follow strict safety protocols, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and decontamination procedures.

    Qualifications:

    + **HAZWOPER 40-hour certification required**

    + Experience in environmental fieldwork, hazardous waste management, or industrial cleanup

    + Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions

    + Valid driver’s license

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Must have 40-hour Hazwoper certification

     

    Must have clean DMV record

     

    Must be willing to shave and wear respirator

     

    Must have high school diploma

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
