Position Overview: Shift 8:00am - 5:00pm

As a Trailer Technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing trailers to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in trailer systems, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Inspect trailers and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues

+ Perform repairs and replacements on trailer components including brakes, axles, and suspension systems

+ Conduct routine preventative maintenance

+ Repair electrical and brake systems

+ Perform frame and structural repairs, including welding and fabrication

+ Test trailers to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards

+ Maintain accurate service records and documentation

+ Stay current with industry standards and best practices

+ Promote and maintain a safe, clean work environment

Required Skills & Experience:

+ Intermediate-level experience in trailer repair and maintenance

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

+ Welding and fabrication experience

+ Familiarity with DOT inspection standards

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and safety checks

+ Experience with diesel systems and transmissions is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
