Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to take charge of maintaining and troubleshooting the mechanical and electrical aspects of our building, grounds, and facility equipment. This role involves working with HVAC systems, boilers, utility systems, pump and piping systems, and basic plumbing, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for facility equipment and systems.
+ Complete preventative maintenance work orders and conduct routine inspections.
+ Manage general non-routine work order requests and move equipment as necessary.
+ Rebuild equipment and ensure facility equipment/system checks are conducted regularly.
+ Interface with team members across all shifts to complete general work orders.
+ Identify and escalate facility-related issues as needed.
+ Continuously seek and implement improvements to processes, productivity, and quality while reducing costs.
+ Execute special projects and other duties specific to the department as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical and plumbing systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting and facilities maintenance skills.
+ Experience with HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
+ Current Special Boiler Operators license from the State of Minnesota.
+ Strong oral and written English communication skills.
+ Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
+ Basic mechanical, electrical, and systems knowledge.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
