Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated construction laborers to join our team for general labor duties on new construction roofing projects. This role involves various tasks such as removing debris, using shovels, cutting and loading materials onto carts, hauling trash, assisting with insulation, and keeping the work area organized. This job site will be at Vanderbilt Hospital.

Responsibilities

+ Remove debris and haul away trash.

+ Use shovels and basic hand tools effectively.

+ Cut and load materials.

+ Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working on a construction job site.

+ Comfortable using hand tools such as shovels and knives.

+ Previous roofing experience is a plus.

+ Capability to perform manual labor for 8+ hours a day.

Work Environment

Work on new construction job sites, specifically on low-slope roofs with safety guards in place. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold. The role requires working Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Steel toe boots are mandatory, and additional PPE will be provided by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
