    Aerotek (Batesville, MS)


    Aerotek is hiring MIG Welder 1st shift 6am-2:30pm

    Responsibilities

    + Weld aluminum stud frames, walls, and roofs using MIG welding techniques.

    + Weld secondary and supporting components for enclosures.

    + Weld steel tanks and assemble walls around fuel tanks.

    + Test welds for leaks and complete spot welds where needed.

    + Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure compliance with specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 1 year experience in MIG welding (work, hobby, or volunteer).

    + Experience in light and medium gauge fabrication.

    + Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. without assistance.

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing basic math computations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to interpret shop drawings.

    + AWS Certification is preferred.

    + Certified Flux Core welder.

    + Technical Degree or Certification is preferred.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position operates on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The work environment is a start-up site located in Batesville, featuring a structured schedule conducive to work-life balance.

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
