Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a mobile HVAC technician to service and maintain HVAC systems for network sites in the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding areas. A typical day could involve responding to calls or tickets from the night before, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance (PM) to maintain temperatures for HVAC systems in the Twin Cities area. The role includes handling general and light maintenance tasks, with the ability to call vendors for assistance on larger or time-consuming jobs.
Responsibilities
+ Change compressors and condenser coils, and maintain rooftop units.
+ Assess system gauges, pressure, fans, including one site with a Building Automation System (BAS).
+ Conduct PM checks, repairs, and minor electrical work, including fixing lights.
+ Perform occasional and light plumbing duties, door repairs, and maintenance of locks and hinges.
+ Maintain system temperatures and ensure systems do not overheat.
+ Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers on-site.
Essential Skills
+ Universal EPA certification (Required).
+ 5+ years of HVAC service experience (Strongly Preferred).
+ Formal technical training or schooling for HVAC (Required).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, and repair.
+ Experience with preventive maintenance, commercial HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexible start times at 6AM or 8AM. The first month will not require on-call duties. During the initial 2-4 months, you will learn the route and buildings to maintain. You will service 12 locations, including Bloomington, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Golden Valley, and Owatonna.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
