    Job Title: Delivery Helper

    Job Description

    As a Delivery Helper, you will assist the delivery team by loading and unloading construction materials for trucks heading to project sites. You will accompany a CDL driver to job sites to deliver materials such as drywall, metal framing, and ceiling tiles for both commercial and residential projects. This role is physically demanding but is supported by equipment like boom trucks, lifts, pulley carts, and dollies to make the work more manageable.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in loading and unloading construction materials onto and off trucks.

    + Transport materials by hand onto carts and wheel them into buildings.

    + Ensure materials are not exposed to outdoor elements.

    + Collaborate with team members to lift drywall safely using two-person lifts.

    + Participate in 3-10 deliveries per day, depending on project demands.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in loading, labor, construction, and delivery.

    + Ability to handle materials, including drywall, with care.

    + Proficiency in operating equipment like forklifts and box trucks.

    + General labor skills, including driving and unloading.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Valid Driver's License.

    + Capability to lift up to 100 lbs.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
