    Job Description

    Join a leading electric and power management company at their expanding manufacturing facility, specializing in voltage regulators and transformers. Utilize established procedures, bills of materials, and equipment to assemble various transformer sizes and related sub-assemblies. The role involves reworking damaged or defective components and completing assemblies with precision.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate bake oven for transformer assembly processes.

    + Perform coil hot turn ratio testing and hook-up, requiring frequent simple grasping and fine manipulation.

    + Conduct low voltage welding and finishing tasks.

    + Press leads and stack cores efficiently.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to guide assembly processes.

    + Engage in general labor or warehouse tasks as needed.

    + Handle heavy lifting, including inventory management and core stacking.

    + Utilize TIG welding for assembly requirements.

    + Operate press machines and follow bills of material accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.

    + Proficiency in blueprint and drawing reading.

    + Experience in general labor or warehouse environments.

    + Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working with transformers or in electrical environments.

    + Ability to work in hot, non-climate-controlled conditions.

    + Previous experience with heavy lifting tasks.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large, expanding facility currently at 200,000 sq ft, doubling in size. The environment is hot and non-climate-controlled, ideal for those who thrive in hands-on roles. This position is for the night shift, from 10:00pm to 6:00am, Sunday through Thursday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nacogdoches, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
