    Job Title: Welder - WEEKLY PAY!

    Job Description

    As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, and fabrication tasks in the manufacture of various products according to specifications. You will read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other instructions to complete necessary tasks. A solid understanding of welding safety procedures and a willingness to use provided personal protective equipment is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products.

    + Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and written instructions.

    + Ensure compliance with welding safety procedures and use of PPE.

    + Complete other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MIG welding.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with fabrication and shop math.

    + Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Welding degree or relevant experience required.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a welding and fabrication shop, with a schedule that includes standing for 2 hours at a time followed by 10-minute breaks. The first shift starts at 6 am with scheduled breaks and ends at 2:30 pm. The shop includes 20 welding bays, some of which are shared during the first shift.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
