Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position offers a dynamic multi-craft maintenance role within a manufacturing company. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility's equipment, with a focus on hydraulic components, sensors, and various types of conveyors, including belt and roller conveyors.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot facility equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

+ Repair and maintain motors and various types of drives including AC, DC, and Variable frequency drives.

+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting using a volt meter and identify blown fuses.

+ Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including grease points, motor swaps, and gearbox changes, according to the PM schedule.

+ Participate in facilities maintenance, including PMs on HVAC systems and dock doors.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics for effective troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting with motors and drives.

+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills, particularly with pumps.

+ Ability to read electrical schematics.

+ Competence in using a volt meter.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with PLCs, schematic and blueprint reading.

+ Experience with three-phase motors and industrial maintenance.

+ Previous experience in box manufacturing is beneficial.

Work Environment

You will work in a super clean, climate-controlled environment. The shift work schedule includes hours from 7 PM to 1 AM on Mondays through Wednesdays, and 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, or weekends. Jeans and steel-toe footwear are required due to the presence of cardboard in the facility.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Carlisle, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
