    Job Title: Solderer

    Job Description

    Perform assembly operations to produce Electro-Mechanical switch assemblies, sub-assemblies, and module assemblies, ensuring timely production in accordance with Drawing and Quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery such as an Eyelet stacker, forming die, Drill press, Heat stacker, and Hot Stamping.

    + Utilize hand tools like Screwdrivers, Wrenches, X-acto knife, Arbor Press, Assembly fixtures, and soldering tools.

    + Conduct assembly operations including assembly, Transformer assembly, Sub-assembly, Potting, Soldering, and Pressure check.

    + Identify parts using ink stamps and mark terminal locations with paint filling engraved lettering or numbers.

    + Work from Assembly Drawings, Assembly Travelers, and Modification Sheets following ISO-9001 / AS9100 procedures.

    + Complete documentation tasks such as writing and filling out Job Cards, Time Cards, and Assembly travelers.

    + Ensure quality workmanship according to internal standards and Military/Aerospace specifications.

    + Perform product inspections using Torque meters and Electrical meters as needed.

    + Execute additional tasks as required by the Department Manager.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly.

    + Experience in reading Blueprints and Engineering Assembly drawings.

    + Ability to concentrate and remain focused while adhering to deadlines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school Diploma or GED required.

    + Fluency in oral and written English language.

    + At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment for aerospace/military/defense/high-tech markets.

    + Prior J-Standard Certification is a plus.

    + Knowledge of Safety Standards, Procedures, and required PPE.

    + Must be a US citizen or legal resident.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a small manufacturing environment with a team of three, engaging in both sitting and standing tasks. Employees are required to frequently lift and move objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds. The role demands close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus, often working with small detailed parts using scopes or magnifiers.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
