    Placement Type: 6.5 month contract to start with possibility of extension and conversion

     

    Shift: Cover 8-hour shifts within factory operating hours from 6am to 2am, 7 days a week. Looking for someone who can work later shifts and/or weekends.

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Program Manager who will be responsible for the coordination and completion of manufacturing and production activities for Satellite Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT). This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of final integration and acceptance testing. The successful candidate will prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project or program and will typically report to a manager or head of a department. A bachelor's degree and at least seven years of relevant experience are required. The role demands familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures within the field, relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Cover 8-hour shifts within factory operating hours from 6am to 2am, 7 days a week.

    + Update Smartsheets, JIRA, and Confluence.

    + Escalate, prioritize, triage, or problem solve failures as they occur.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in Aero/Defense Manufacturing.

    + Experience with Testing Execution, Engineering, and Acceptance Testing.

    + Quality Assurance expertise.

    + Technical background with 4 to 6 years of experience.

    + Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence with 2 to 4 years of experience.

    + Experience in hardware manufacturing for 2 to 4 years.

    + Manufacturing Quality Assurance with 1 to 2 years of experience.

    + Program Coordination skills with 4 to 6 years of experience.

    + Project Management, Communication, and Problem Solving skills with 4 to 6 years of experience.

    + Smartsheet proficiency with 2 to 4 years of experience.

    + Stakeholder Management skills with 4 to 6 years of experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

    + Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves covering shifts within factory operating hours from 6am to 2am, across seven days a week. The role requires proficiency in using technologies such as Smartsheets, JIRA, and Confluence to ensure the efficient progress of projects. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a variety of tasks and lead and direct the work of others within a dynamic and challenging setting.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
