    Job Title: Software Development EngineerJob Description

     

    Join our dynamic Content Platform team as a Software Development Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and developing solutions for merchandising applications. Your contributions will directly impact our customers, as you troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for internally developed code. You will also be responsible for developing monitoring solutions, performing SQL queries, and improving systems that gather metrics on our features. Additionally, you will collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects, update and enhance current software, automate support processes, and document our systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide first-level support for production software application issues related to merchandising applications.

    + Develop monitoring solutions and troubleshoot/debug internally developed code using Perl, C/C++, and Java.

    + Perform SQL queries to support application functionality and system improvements.

    + Collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects.

    + Update and enhance existing software applications.

    + Automate support processes and document systems.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in coding languages such as Perl, C/C++, Java, and Python.

    + Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle databases.

    + Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism.

    + Superior verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.

    + 2-5 years of relevant experience in software development.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Mason and AWS technologies.

    + Knowledge of HTML and UNIX/Linux operating systems.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
