Job Title: Pharmacy Operations Manager
Job Description
The Pharmacy Operations Manager, in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy and in accordance with established policies and procedures, will supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the pharmacy department. The goal is to provide the safest and highest quality care for patients.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee daily activities and workflows within the pharmacy department.
+ Manage scheduling, sterile compounding, hazardous drugs, shortages, and revenue cycle.
+ Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient operations.
+ Solve practical and strategic problems and resolve conflicts.
+ Implement constructive changes while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
+ Consult with the Director of Pharmacy to ensure departmental goals align with patient and hospital needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Registered pharmacist in good standing with the state of Connecticut
+ B.S. or Pharm.D. degree
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience as a staff or clinical pharmacist
+ Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred
Work Environment
Inpatient hospital setting with a full time schedule of Monday through Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
PTO package, health, vision, dental, 401k with match,

This is a fully onsite position in Middletown,CT.
