Heavy Equipment Operator

Per Diem $830 weekly

Pay: $26-$30/hr.

Job Description

As a Scraper , you will be responsible for operating a scraper to cut and grade the terrain. You will work in the CUT, managing fill, and ensuring the land is prepared for fine grading.

Responsibilities

+ Operate MTS 3630 Wheeled or Track Scrapers, MTS 745 with pan CAT 627 or CAT 637 for rough grading work.

+ Perform pre-inspection and end-of-day inspection of machinery.

+ Report any machine concerns to management.

+ Ensure safe and efficient earthmoving operations.

+ Drive across terrain to scrape earth and manage fill.

+ Work collaboratively with Finish Dozer operators to prepare the land for completion.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience operating scrapers on commercial job sites involving mass grading.

+ Proficiency in operating MTS 3630 Wheeled or Track Scrapers, MTS 745 with pan CAT 627 or CAT 637.

+ Strong understanding of rough grading techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured to operate company vehicles.

+ Experience with paddle wheel operations is a plus.

+ Knowledge of civil construction and commercial construction processes.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
