Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Technician to join our production team. This role requires operating vial wash and packaging production equipment, supplying materials to assigned positions, cleaning equipment and production areas, and inspecting parts and items. The position involves troubleshooting basic issues and assisting in training others. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with 4x10 shifts.
Responsibilities
+ Operate assigned equipment appropriately according to established methods and procedures, including setup, operation, and cleaning.
+ Confirm configurations are correct, check for leaks or abnormalities, and communicate any issues immediately.
+ Complete operational documentation per SOP and handle returned and rejected items as needed.
+ Review area production documentation and ensure all entries are accurate, recorded in real-time, and signed as completed.
+ Maintain open communication with management, informing them of production updates, deviations, and corrective measures.
+ Exchange work status information within the department and with management and co-workers.
+ Maintain a clean work environment using appropriate cleaning solutions and prescribed methods and schedules.
+ Ensure designated equipment/tools are cleaned and sanitized according to established methods and schedules.
+ Clean and sanitize glassware by loading it into washers and completing wash documentation per SOP.
+ Handle raw materials and components according to prescribed methods and procedures, including procurement, weighing, verification, dispensing, and formulating solutions.
+ Respond immediately to equipment alarms or malfunctions and communicate conditions to subject matter experts.
+ Assist co-workers in the production of finished products according to SOPs and manufacturing instructions.
+ Receive and ship plant uniforms and scrub uniforms for cleaning.
+ Stock garments and supplies for clean rooms and sterile core, preparing garments for shipment and sterilization.
+ Assist with special projects as required or requested.
+ Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent; one or more years of previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or cleanroom filling.
+ Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.
+ Basic mechanical skills related to equipment operation.
+ Knowledge and skill in operating specialized equipment like packaging, wash, and sanitizing equipment.
+ Knowledge of and compliance with GMP regulations, preferred but not required.
+ Proficiency in general computer functions such as Microsoft Office programs and spreadsheets.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
+ Advanced problem safety sensitivity to recognize safety issues.
+ Effective time management skills.
+ Attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, sterility, and aseptic technique.
+ Strong communication skills with coworkers and management.
+ Proficiency in math with an understanding of measurements and conversions.
+ Ability to recognize deviations from procedures and anomalies, and communicate them immediately.
+ Critical thinking skills.
+ Maintaining confidentiality of all internal and external information and processes.
+ Ability to follow personal hygiene standards and procedures according to SOP.
+ Ability to wear protective attire and handle materials in the correct order per SOP.
+ Ability to follow all appropriate SOPs and safety procedures per company guidelines.
+ Problem-solving skills in practical situations with limited standardization.
+ Flexibility in work hours.
+ Ability to develop and maintain partnerships within the organization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of GMP regulations is preferred.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow hygiene standards according to SOP.
Work Environment
The work environment includes clean rooms, labs, and production areas. Employees are expected to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures, wearing protective attire as required. The facility operates on a Monday to Thursday schedule, with 4x10 shifts. The position involves handling various specialized equipment and maintaining a sterile and aseptic environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.
