    Job Title: Production Engineering Chief Engineer (Lean Master)

    Job Description

    Lead Six Sigma initiatives for training and continuous improvement across the North America region. Facilitate remote work with occasional travel to other sites for training and activities. Coach and lead kaizen events, provide value stream mapping, interface with Operational Excellence System contacts, perform process validation, and conduct statistical analysis.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead Six Sigma efforts for training and continuous improvement within North America.

    + Facilitate remote work and travel monthly to various sites for training and activities.

    + Coach and lead kaizen events at multiple locations.

    + Provide value stream mapping to enhance processes.

    + Serve as an interface for Operational Excellence System at each site.

    + Conduct process validation and statistical analysis.

    Essential Skills

    + Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

    + Experience in continuous improvement.

    + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

    + Background in Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Industrial engineering expertise.

    + 5-10 years of manufacturing experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's preferred.

    + ASQ certification is preferred.

    + Knowledge of Toyota Production System and automotive manufacturing.

    + Experience with value stream mapping.

    + Knowledge of andon, production pull, and kanban systems.

    + Ability to incorporate change-over activities.

    + Experience in enhancing labor efficiency.

    Work Environment

    Work a hybrid schedule with the requirement to travel up to 40% or approximately one week per month to various sites. Must be able to come onsite to the nearest home base located near KY, IN, OH, or GA at least three times a week.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
