    Description

    As a member of the SEIT department you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists design engineers and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will be 100 on-site. The candidate will serve as an Integration and Test Electrical Engineer to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment. Daily responsibilities may include: o Support the installation integration and testing of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf COTS and custom equipment used to further research efforts on superconducting microelectronic devices. o Identify troubleshoot and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off. o Communicate project status to the Integration and Test IT IPT Lead. o Collaborate with research scientists and systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components. o Design develop and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment both custom and COTS and entire systems. o Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology equipment testing procedures manufacturing processes and new testing requirements. o Performing hands-on electrical testing at CCA level test setup and execution o Performing hands-on electrical testing at a systems level o Incorporating hardware and/or software design changes o Documenting dispositioning hardware discrepancies pursuing root cause corrective actions

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Basic Qualifications for Associate Integration and Test: o Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of experience a Master's degree in a STEM discipline or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience. o Working knowledge in one of the following languages: MATLAB Python C or C o Active DoD Secret Level security clearance o Demonstrated ability to lead out at solving problems and driving all tasks to completion o Ability to work at a fast pace while multi-tasking and still communicate effectively o Ability to work in a team environment and lead small projects or teams o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Hands-on electrical testing and diagnostic experience o Experience in Test script development with HW interfaces o Experience working in C/C/C# o Experience working with MATLAB Preferred Qualifications for Associate Integration and Test: o Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance. o Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers oscilloscopes waveform generators synthesizers digitizers and/or signal analyzers. o Working knowledge of standard design components: filters couplers splitters amplifiers etc. o Familiarity with cryogenic test systems: dilution Refrigeration 4 Kelvin cryo-coolers Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration ADR and liquid helium emersion. o Experience with Mission Systems standards/guidelines o Software Testing with data reduction and analysis o Experience with MES or other digital work instruction platform o Experience working with operational hazards such as overhead lifting and thermal chambers o Experience performing formal requirements decomposition and/or verification

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.69/hr.
