    Concrete Foreman/Superintendent

     

    Heavy Civil / Sidewalks / Curbs

    Description

    Our client is looking to add a Concrete Superintendent to their growing team. This role will lead a crew of 3–4 workers on a variety of heavy civil concrete projects, including sidewalks, curbs, and related infrastructure. Projects are located throughout central and southern Indiana, primarily between Indianapolis and Bloomington. This construction company is a third-generation, family-owned company based in Seymour, IN, known for its experienced team and commitment to quality in concrete, excavation, and demolition work.

    Responsibilities:

    + Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a concrete crew (3–4 workers)

    + Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications

    + Ensure proper layout, forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete for sidewalks, curbs, and other civil structures

    + Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on site

    + Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors

    + Track materials, labor, and equipment usage

    + Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and efficiency

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

     

    Must Have Details

     

    + Roughly 10 years of concrete construction experience at any level

    + 3 years of working as a foreman or higher

    + Experience with curbs, sidewalks, and walking paths

    + Experience running crews of at least 3

    + Strong knowledge of forming systems, concrete placement, and finishing techniques

    + Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
