    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator to join our Cardiac Specialty Clinic in an outpatient hospital setting. The role primarily involves educating patients on their next steps, including scheduling and communication with providers. You will also be responsible for submitting orders from patient visits such as lab tests and medications. This position involves predominantly phone work and computer-based tasks, with some patient interaction.

    Responsibilities

    + Educate patients on their treatment plans and next steps.

    + Submit orders from patient visits, including lab tests and medications.

    + Assist with scheduling and confirming tests and appointments.

    + Communicate effectively with providers and patients.

    + Perform phone work and computer-based tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in cardiology and cardiac telemetry.

    + Proficiency with electronic health records.

    + Skill in patient education and scheduling.

    + Registered Nurse license in Missouri.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of medications.

    + Experience in telemetry, including the ability to read EKGs.

    + Team-oriented and reliable.

    Work Environment

    The position is structured around a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. You will manage an average of 22 patients a day. Our work environment is family-based, promoting autonomy and collaboration, making it a great place to work.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
