    MEP Superintendent – Electrical Focus

    •Location: Boston, MA

    •Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

    About the Role

    Join a high-profile project at an iconic Convention Center in Boston. We’re seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with a strong electrical background to lead and manage all on-site MEP operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met while fostering collaboration across teams and trade partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and document all daily MEP site activities, ensuring OSHA compliance and safety best practices.

    + Direct field personnel and subcontractors in alignment with the project plan and schedule.

    + Communicate daily updates, progress, and issues to the Project Manager.

    + Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain cost-effective operations.

    + Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

    + Collaborate with the General Superintendent and Project Manager on scheduling, materials, and personnel planning.

    + Develop and maintain the project’s baseline and look-ahead schedules.

    + Ensure all subcontractors complete safety pre-construction meetings before mobilization.

    + Provide monthly schedule updates and two-week look-ahead reports.

    Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.

    + Proven experience with medium voltage switchgear (4000 amp) upgrades and replacements.

    + Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.

    + OSHA Certification required.

    + Experience in commercial and infrastructure projects.

    + Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project preferred.

    + Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Experience

    + 10–20 years of industry experience.

    + Background in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.

    + Ability to manage complex electrical systems and upgrades in active facilities.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $80.00/hr.
