We are seeking an Environmental Test Technician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. Entry-level position with comprehensive training and opportunity for advancement. Our goal is to promote this individual to the Test Engineer I role within 6-to-12 months.
Good opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work, and welcome opportunities for overtime and regional travel. Typical projects require 2-to-5 days out of town during the standard work week. Company vehicle provided for travel. All travel time, expenses, lodging + additional $72 per diem are paid for by company.
Responsibilities
+ Perform air emissions testing and monitoring services at industrial or manufacturing sites.
+ Transport equipment to sites using a company vehicle, set up and dismantle testing equipment.
+ Record data and collect samples during testing.
+ Calibrate testing equipment and assist engineers in air quality testing procedures.
+ Follow environmental, health, and safety protocols.
+ Organize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming jobs.
+ Maintain and clean testing equipment.
Qualifications
+ B.S. Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field preferred.
+ Previous experience in field testing, maintenance, industrial, or hands-on roles is preferred.
+ Able to travel (regional) as required during the standard work week, Monday-Friday
+ Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.
+ Employees typically earn $50,000-$60,000 with overtime their first year.
+ Career Path: Test Technician - Test Engineer I/II - AET Team Lead - Project Manager - Sr. Project Manager - Director.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
