Job Title: Medical Assistant - Millburn
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care office. The role involves performing phlebotomy and blood draws, providing compassionate care to patients, and supporting back office functions.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct phlebotomy and blood draws to ensure accurate laboratory results.
+ Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and queries.
+ Update patient information, including family histories and previous visit notes.
+ Perform intakes for patients and room loading duties.
+ Conduct vital checks and medication reconciliation.
+ Prepare charts prior to patient visits.
+ Prepare patient rooms for consultations and treatments.
+ Restock rooms and supply closets, and manage inventory.
+ Triage phone calls to address physician and patient questions.
+ Update patient records and electronic medical records using EPIC.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an accredited diploma from a Medical Assistant school.
+ Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Phlebotomy experience is required.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Patient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
