Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.. This role involves designing electrical architectures and system requirements for Autonomous Drive Kits (ADK).
Responsibilities
+ Develop, troubleshoot, and release electrical engineering deliverables for production.
+ Evaluate and characterize hardware components to meet system needs.
+ Lead and participate in technical reviews, including risk analysis and DFMEA.
+ Collaborate in architecture, quality, safety, project, production, and cross-functional reviews.
+ Source components and identify suppliers to meet system design requirements.
+ Evaluate and implement electrical interfaces for sensors, actuators, and hardware.
+ Work with Hybrid and EV vehicle power systems following safe work procedures.
+ Design and implement prototypes for complex parts of full vehicle systems.
+ Lead continuous improvement efforts for tools, products, and processes in Electrical Lab and vehicles.
+ Generate and maintain necessary engineering documentation for compliance.
+ Verify electrical requirements at the component and bench level.
+ Perform complex assignments requiring independent problem-solving and decision-making.
+ Mentor technical teams while following industry best practices.
+ Follow safe work procedures and report workplace hazards, injuries, and illnesses.
+ Perform additional duties as necessary to support business objectives.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in DFMEA, troubleshooting, electrical design, and wire harness design.
+ Experience in hardware testing.
+ At least 5 years of vehicle engineering leadership experience, including launching a vehicle.
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
+ Knowledge of automotive electrical repair and maintenance.
+ Familiarity with ISO26262 standards.
+ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
+ Proficiency in electrical schematic and harness design using software tools.
+ Systems-level thinking with the ability to create architecture diagrams.
+ A 'can-do' attitude towards problem-solving.
+ SolidWorks experience
+ Must have experience utilized 3D Experience within SolidWorks
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Hybrid and EV vehicle power systems.
+ Technical mentorship skills following industry best practices.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
