Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

The Field Service Technician will proficiently set up and operate crushing and screening equipment, accurately identifying key components within these systems. The role requires the ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics with minimal guidance, demonstrate knowledge of component repair and rebuild procedures, and perform mid-level diagnostic and repair tasks with limited assistance. Fabrication and welding capabilities are needed, along with using diagnostic tools and software effectively. The technician will complete warranty repairs and communicate daily equipment maintenance needs professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate crushing and screening equipment.

+ Identify key components within crushing and screening systems.

+ Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics with minimal guidance.

+ Demonstrate knowledge of component repair and rebuild procedures.

+ Perform mid-level diagnostic and repair tasks with limited assistance.

+ Fabricate and weld as required.

+ Utilize diagnostic tools and software with minimal support.

+ Complete warranty repairs effectively.

+ Communicate daily equipment maintenance needs clearly and professionally with customers.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

+ Experience with heavy equipment and industrial machinery.

+ Knowledge of motors, conveyors, and engines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Heavy Industrial Equipment repair experience is a must.

+ Experience with motors, engines, and conveyor systems on big machinery is essential.

+ Providing own basic tools will help stand out.

Work Environment

The work environment is dog friendly and equipped with swamp coolers in service pits, although air conditioning is not available. Employees have the flexibility to start early at 4:30 AM to work in cooler conditions and leave by 2:30 PM. The team is very direct and friendly, with a culture of open communication led by a CEO with an open-door policy. Overtime is available, providing additional earning opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $74880.00/yr.

Wage paid bi-weekly.• Eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance on the first of the month following thirtydays of active employment. (80% of Health insurance is paid by the employer, all other electedinsurances will be paid by the employee). We have a variety of supplemental insurancesavailable.• Eligible for the company 401(k) plan after ninety days of active employment. Company matchesup to 5% and there is no vesting period.• Basic Life Insurance paid by the company.• Seven paid holidays a year provided per our policy.• Eligible for PTO accrual. 1st year can earn up to 80 hours, 2nd year can earn up to 120 hours and3rd year going forward can earn up to 160 hours per year.
